Lumina is the new home of WeightMasters, formerly Living in Balance, Longfellow's highly-respected weight-loss and life-style enhancement program. For more than ten years, WeightMasters has successfully coached over 2,000 people to achieve their goals that have included: weight loss, living a more balanced life, decreasing cholesterol and blood pressure and managing diabetes. WeightMasters director, Jane Polley, M.S., R.D., LDN, creates a warm and compassionate atmosphere and offers effective strategies for integrating the three major components of successful weight loss.

Managing weight begins with the right combination of healthy nutritious food. We workwith you to create a peaceful relationship with food, develop a personalized food plan, embrace proven strategies to address specific eating challenges, eliminate regretfuleating, control trigger foods, and manage vulnerable times of the day.

Consistent and Effective Exercise

The evidence and the science is overwhelming. For optimum health, human beingsneed 30-60 minutes of exercise every day. We work with each participant to develop an exercise prescription that makes sense. By crafting an effective and sustainable exercise routine, you'll be well on your way to fundamental changes and exciting results.

Positive and Optimistic Attitude

Attitude is everything! Losing weight is challenging and requires a long-term outlook. WeightMasters makes it fun and helps participants set realistic goals, anticipate pitfalls and establish a plan for success. Weekly classes educate and inspire you to embrace positive thinking which is necessary for any lasting meaningful change.
