As a Club member you can book court time on one of 2 racquetball courts at The Longfellow Sports Club. Court reservations are accepted over the phone or in person. The program is led by 5 time and current US and World Champion Professional Joanne T. Pomodoro (ext. 218), she welcomes members of all ages and levels to the sport!

Why Play Racquetball?

An estimated 9 million people play racquetball in the United States. In addition to being fun and easy to learn, racquetball is an aerobic sport in which the typical players runs approximately one mile during a 15-point game and burns more than 600 calories per hour of play. If you are tired of pounding the pavement, lifting or counting, join one of the many programs offered and learn to play racquetball...

Leagues

Coed leagues run during the fall, winter and spring. We offer recreation and competitive format with playoffs and a party at the end of each league. Levels range from A to novice. Registration forms and information on dates and rates will be posted at the racquetball court bulletin board.

Round Robin Court Time

All members are welcome, no registration or fee required. Players looking for a pickup game but can't commit to a league enjoy playing this format. A-B+ level meet on Monday's from 5-8 p.m. B/C level meet on Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m.

Jr. Racquetball Program (Please call Caroline Donahue at 508-653-4633 for more information.)

Instructional program for girls and boys 7-15 years of age. Program will be geared to the age and skill level of the class participants. Rules, strokes and drills will be covered under the instruction of the club pro. Registration forms and information on dates and rates will be posted at the racquetball court bulletin board. The sport of racquetball offers kids the opportunity to play in local, state, regional, and national events.
